Concrete repair

Many concrete structures and building features built in the 1960’s and early 70’s were constructed without thought for the environment.  Many now need repair. Acid rain and pollution have attacked the concrete over the years and, due to the lack of cover over the reinforcing steel, corrosion to set in causing the concrete to crack, spall and fall off.  This reveals the corroded concrete reinforcement allowing further corrosion to the concrete and so the cycle goes on. The deterioration accelerates unless effective repair work is carried out.
